What is peripheral artery disease and how is it treated?
Peripheral artery disease (PAD) occurs when arteries in your legs become narrowed or blocked. Dr. Baiju specializes in non-surgical treatments including atherectomy and angioplasty to restore blood flow and prevent amputations. Early treatment is key to successful outcomes.
How long do procedures typically take?
Procedure times vary depending on complexity. Simple diagnostic tests like EKGs take minutes, while stress tests take about an hour. Interventional procedures typically range from 30 minutes to 2 hours. We'll always explain the expected duration beforehand.
Do you provide emergency cardiac care?
